Money in being distributor for Brands ? First online store advice / Learning resources

Hi guys,

I am interested in starting a distribution business I was thinking a website along with a ebay store is my first steps/first goals and to reach out to companies about reselling their product ??

This is my first time doing this as I have enjoyed selling used goods on Ebay but I want my own brand and to sell small goods.

Any learning resources you can suggest or someone willing to chat to me and offer advice on getting started up.
