Hello all! I recently got thrown into this position of inventory management and I'm still trying to wrap my head around things. I think the current state of things it worked when we were smaller but now we are growing and i feel it doesn't translate well.
Here are some programs we use/ facts:
- Shopify POS
- We have many SKUs (min 1000)
- We have on our high months 16,000 orders
- We can get upwards of 1000 orders a day
I have a few questions:
What is some of the best programs to use for inventory management? I need something with a lot of integrations. (particularly netsuite)
Currently we are using ShipStation and I was wondering what the big name Inventory programs do extra in comparison to just a basic system like ShipStation?
Is there any sites to help you organize and set up a better flowing inventory -> Picker -> Shipper? I think our layout/ process needs a face lift.
I appreciate any and all feedback that I get. We are a fairly small company so I'm trying to learn how to make this more efficient. Or if you have anything that can help me learn please point me in the right direction! Thank you in advance!
