proper for followup email after sale?

Hello, I have had my first two sales go through this month. I was not able to get any feedback through my google review process (bummer right?) and I was wondering if it was proper or not to follow up in a private email asking if their purchase was satisfactory. What are the thoughts on that? I would consider myself a "small business" so I could justify it being personal service but I cannot recall any time somebody has reached out to me post sale for any reason. Thoughts?
