E-commerce for a downturn.

I’ve been researching and preparing to launch an e-commerce business, but I’m hesitant to start right before a potential economic correction like the one in 2008. I wonder if it might be better to wait a few months and see if my idea would still be valuable to consumers during a potentially dramatic recession or depression.

I want to ask y’all what are some of the things you are doing to prepare. Are you adjusting your product line? Are you starting a new one? Are you dialing up or down your inventory of current products? Are you holding your position in the marketplace and waiting to see what happens too? Are you doing nothing to avoid wasted/misspent time?
