- Obsess about the customer. Practice "consumer science", constantly testing hypotheses about what people want.
- Relevance = Retention. Use the data and tools at your disposal to create a personalized experience.
- Let customers do the talking. Set up an engine whereby your customers will sell to new customers on your behalf.
The tough part is that these are now fundamental things people just expect. The nice part is that there are lots of tools out there to accomplish these things with WordPress, Shopify, etc. How are you doing on these 3 areas?
