I'm questioning if small numbers of reviews are doing more harm than good. We pull in over $1 million per year but get maybe 1-2 reviews from customers per quarter. Our most popular item has 8 total reviews over 3 years.
We've done UX testing and have had comments about how some items look suspicious with only 4 positive reviews. I see some more established brands like Birddogs don't even have reviews.
Has anyone A/B tested? Or does anyone do well without them?
