Hey everyone. We are very close to launching our e-commerce website and wondering the best way to go about handling large payments from customers without PayPal or any other processor freezing our accounts. On this subreddit, we've seen stories of folks getting their accounts shut down due to high amounts being processed by new companies/accounts so we want to make sure we're not in a position where we can't access the funds paid to us by customers to pay our vendors on time.
We're dealing in high ticket items ($3,000, generally up to $10,000) so we imagine that the high dollar value may raise a flag.
Is this something we would have to call PayPal and anyone else that we're processing with to clear ahead of time? Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you.
