Roast my product

Hi,

I designed this egg server and i need your thoughts on the website – do you understand the intend or does it go too far with the jokes?

The idea behind this was to try and angle an design item in a completely different way, to reach new audiences. usually, design products take themselves so seriously that it comes pretentious so I tried to angle it very different.

However, i still want the visitor to understand that the actual product is quality and not a gag gift, do i accomplish that?
