So, I started my shop a few months back and too be honest the results are lot worse that I expected.
I have primarily been using Google Ads to drive traffic to the website. Originally I was using Google's automatic bidding strategy to optimize towards conversions with a daily budget of 10 GBP. However, it was only driving 10 users per day to the site with no conversions.
Yesterday, I made some updates and changed the bidding to manual. In a few hours my traffic tripled and I got a conversion – which is great.
Now my question is, is the Google optimisation engine usually good? I.e. would increasing my daily budget likely help drive more conversions and thus allow Google to better optimise?
Also more than happy to get any other recommendations on advertising for websites just getting started.
