One of the challenges I face as a lone entrepreneur is that I don’t have a boss or partner to help keep me accountable on a day to day basis. I’ve seen tweets echoing the same sentiment so I feel like others might benefit from an accountability partner too.
I have a few people who have joined the group I started, but I wanted to share with r/ecommerce
The goal is to not only connect you with 1 other solo entrepreneur but also to build a community around emerging entrepreneurs. You will have your 1-1, partner, to help out, but you can also lean on the community for feedback, thoughts, and advice in general. I have a few speakers lined up so that we can host monthly zoom calls and ask them to field questions from the community. There are other ideas in the works to give community perks, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
This all takes place in our Slack channel.
With that said, I'd like to ask the r/ecommerce crew what your thoughts are. Do ever feel like you wanted a partner to bounce ideas off of that isn't necessarily an employee or equity partner? Would it be helpful to have someone to chat with that can hold you accountable – even if it's as simple as "what do you plan on getting done today? what'd you do yesterday?"
Any thoughts or feedback is welcome! And if you want an invite, just shoot me a DM or leave a comment.
