I'm an email copywriter who has made over $100k for info publishing products. I worked with 1 eCommerce beauty company recently and I was honestly pretty shocked. The store had a huge list but was doing… basically nothing.
For info publishers, their entire business model is based solely off their email list. Some of them don't even have a proper website – and rely only on generating email opt ins from ads and then selling on the backend.
So you can see why I was kinda shocked that this major beauty brand wasn't doing any email marketing. I spoke to her and did some research myself to find that most eCom stores don't even have their basic abandoned cart sequences set up.
I'm curious to know why.
Are there any inherent challenges to email marketing that might be stopping you from jumping on it?
