Hello, Reddit community! I'm in the process of starting an e-commerce website that sells women's clothing and need a fresh opinion on some of the strategies I'm considering putting in place.
I'll be needing to take pre-orders for the first week or two, which means the shipping times might increase significantly. To offset the drawbacks this might incur with people, I was also considering having a promotion for the first few weeks to the first month along the lines of every 5-10 cents out of the dollar will go towards helping *Blank*, most likely schools or organizations in need. Do you think this will encourage more people to shop at my website knowing that a percentage of their order goes to a good cause or will this steer people away in fear that prices will be too high?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
