I have a need to open up an ecommerce store for my side business.
I am a software engineer but have never really dwelled into web development. However, I know my way around Python, Django and React.
I had a look around the open source platforms and I understand they dont give you much control.
I would ideally want my solution deployed by me, monitored by me, and having as much control as possible.
I do not need good SEO or marketing tools for the start, but it is a consideration for scalability.
I of course understand the trade offs so I am here asking you this.
What would you propose if I need something quick to set up, selling 5-10 products and slowly expanding from that?
