I’m a shipping/warehouse manager for a hair extension company. For some odd reason, I’m the one in charge of color checking/quality checking the hair once it arrives from China and then deciding if it’s good enough to put into inventory or send back to be fixed. I’m very frustrated as I am not a hair stylist. I don’t know why I am the one in charge of deciding what hair shades are acceptable. My supervisor rejects any opinions I have when it comes to this so a lot of our products don’t match their samples and we do not offer refunds on open product so I often feel like we are being dishonest with customers because the sample matches them but the actual product does not. I don’t know how to handle this. The warehouse had spiders so I asked the owner for pest control and my supervisor found out I went “behind his back” after he had told me pest control wasn’t necessary and that he can’t control “where spiders decide to hang out”. I feel like I should go to the owner with my concerns as this is their name on the product but I feel stuck on how to go about it. Thank you.
