What is the situation with VAT?
I thought since the UK left, EU business are no longer allowed to charge non VAT registered businesses VAT?
I.e they are supposed to treat the UK like they would other countries in the world and not charge VAT.
Issue for me is that I am about to be VAT registered so EU companies that I purchase from say they have to charge me VAT, but as mentioned above, I thought the rules have changed now so that I pay VAT to the UK tax authorities. I just don't want to end up paying vat twice and want to be able to claim it back when I am VAT registered if possible
Any of you guys can give clarification I would highly appreciate it
And if you voted brexit you can 100% f*ck off.
