Hi everyone, I started a successful political merch company last election cycle (went viral overnight from launch actually) that was fueled by guerrilla marketing in large FB groups.
This time around I’m focusing on Instagram for my organic audience building and sales strategy as it’s democratic progressive product and I’m seeing higher engagement there than on FB. With FB’s updates over the past few years I’ve decided to go from grey to white hat in my campaign strategy due to how much more time it takes to build reach than on Instagram.
I started my profile 3 months ago and have seen a steady growth, now hitting 20-30% weekly follower growth at 2k follows, so I’m the next few months I’m expecting to hit a 5 digit follower count as I’m able to have at least one post per day reach the discovery page for hashtags with 50k-200k posts.
To get to my main question, what metrics have you seem for Instagram Store conversions? It can be from content interactions, account reach, actions per post, etc. I want to hear what you’re seeing so I can begin a foundation for expected revenue when I begin my campaigns.
I’ll be creating an E-Comm store, but I always found community shops had better conversions than webstores (Etsy & Amazon consistently gave better ROAS than my own site on campaigns 4 years ago, even with excellent UX & Content) The site will mostly be used for retargeting campaigns on abandoned checkout audiences since this is a side project from my 8-5.
TL;DR What metrics have you seem for Instagram Store conversions? It can be from content interactions, account reach, actions per post, etc
