Uplift from Subscribe & Save? Issues?

My company is an ecomm only DTC biz, selling packaged goods via Shopify. We are thinking of adding a Subscribe & Save (auto-renew) option for our customers. So think toilet paper automatically gets reordered/delivered every 8 weeks. For those of you running similar programs what kind of uplift have you seen with this add-on? Any increase in customer service issues (customers forgetting they had a renewal being delivered, disputing charges, etc)? TIA!
