WooCommerce or Shopify for someone who knows how to work with WordPress?

Hi everyone! I've been using WordPress for years and have solid front-end dev knowledge. I'm starting my online shop soon but am still wondering whether to go forward with WP and the WooCommerce plugin, or sign up for Shopify.

I know most of the people who don't sit with WordPress well will recommend Shopify, which is why I'm interested whether you-the ones who have great WP skills-would recommend it too or would you stick to WP?
