Paint points for selling overseas

Hello, I'm not an avid 'e-commercer', if that's a word.. but I've been in the scene from an outsider's standpoint, scouting the supply chain of the whole system.

I'm currently doing research on what the pain points in selling overseas are, and how your store handle them? I'm mainly focusing on those who have their own web-store and not bound to Amazon's FBA system.

-How have you been affected during covid and selling overseas.

-Have you seen any staggering prices in shipping/manufacturing/Tariffs & Fees/selling or any related procurement activities?

-Have customer demands changed? Mainly speaking about your checkout-related fees & costs.

Appreciate some insight.
