Optimizing Google Shopping Ads

Greetings guys.

I'm running a Shopify store and I've been running Google shopping ads for about a month now.

I have about 20 products (150 variants in total) at $20 a day.

About 20 or so conversions came from these ads, and I'm thinking of optimizing it in some way.

Do you have any piece of advice?

Google suggests I start smart shopping campaign, but I thinks it's too soon.

I'm thinking I could leave the campaign on $5 budget and making a new one with the 3 products that have the most conversions for the remaining $15. Is this a good idea?

What other possibilities are there?
