Hi all! I've recently launched (soft-launched) my side / passion project, which is a personalize wall art store that plants twenty trees for each item purchased. We allow people to upload their own photos into stylized state outlines (among a few other customization options). I launched this site because I wanted to find a way to have a positive impact on a cause that I care about while also using my professional experience in design and marketing, and if all goes well make a living doing this if/when it's successful. The site is here: www.bearingsbrand.com
I started off with a fairly straightforward Facebook marketing campaign targeted toward people who have recently travelled and who are interested in a few things (travel photography, hiking, travel, etc.). Didn't have much luck with the campaign, the clickthrough rate was pretty bad (less than 1%, 12 clicks on ~1800 impressions, video that I used for the ad can be found here: https://vimeo.com/562938966/593cd171d7) and got exactly zero sales. I also set up a retargeting campaign to site visitors, but because I didn't have many visitors this campaign only got two impressions.
Is my ad campaign the problem? Are there issues with my site? Too pricey?
I am toying around with the idea of applying the 20% discount to each product by default so I can display the sale price, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. Are codes or sale prices more effective?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
