E-commerce stores must focus on macro content to expand and grow their audience.

They cannot just speak about the product and produce content about their product.

If that is done, then a boundary is reached beyond which the content deteriorates in quality and appears to be towards more of selling.

Instead one must focus on creating and distributing content that is macro in nature.

Now the word macro here means to focus on the industry (sometimes even parent industry) when creating content.

That way the quality of content is fresh and rich in value.

So, here are a few types one can create content on

āž” Understanding customer problems (though your product does not solve them) you can provide solutions or direct them to a solution.

āž” Educating on how to use the product and maximize its lifetime

āž” Educating about what ingredients go in the product and why is it

āž” About how the industry has evolved

āž” About how the industry will be

āž” Celebrating few victories of the team on social media to build employee loyalty

āž” Collecting information on frequent questions from the support team and then answering them in stories

āž” Present trends in the industry
