Does Google Shopping ads have many Chinese sellers like Amazon does, and if not, why?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm geniunely curious. I've read that money seems to be a non-issue (they willingly pay for reviews and make fake orders to appear popular), so what gives?

Is it because Amazon actively wooed Chinese sellers? I've also heard rumors of Amazon Insiders actively giving preferential treatment to Chinese sellers.

I ask also because I wonder if what's happening to Amazon will happen to Google Shopping Ads and if I'll be competing with possibly ethically dubious competition.
