Store owners do you leverage video in marketing campaigns?

As a previous store owner (shopify), I was using video in my marketing campaigns with a relatively good return (in terms of engagement).

During that time it was actually pretty difficult to create an automated flow – meaning creating/sending a video every time I added a new product, on a new order, and a personalized thank you video for VIP customers.

I was curious to know how other retailers leverage video? If you don't use video, why is that?
