We've recently launched an eBay store to help keep our stock moving whilst our eCommerce site improves in ranking, but we were also considering the use of Amazon to run alongside this. The only thing that has stopped us so far is that Amazon charges a monthly fee to become a seller, where-as eBay only charges fees on a listing by listing basis (alongside final value fees).
My question is for those who have used both platforms, how do you think they compare from a sales, fees and usability aspect? Are we missing a trick by not operating on both platforms, or are there other platforms that you could recommend.
Our products are aimed at the water treatment industry, so are somewhat niche compared to popular consumer goods like clothing etc.
Any recommendations and advice would be greatly appreciated!
