I am posting this here as a hail-mary to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Some background: I'm talking to a client who wants an easier way for customers to order free merch. In the past, he would shoot them a text or email along the lines of, "We have new merch! Let me know what you want, sizes, colors, etc., and send me your mailing info."
He wants a way to streamline this — a basic online store he can send these users to, where they can select what they want, put in their mailing info, and have it sent to them free of charge.
I would use a simple e-commerce integration like Squarespace or Shopify, but he doesn't want the user to input any of their payment information.
I'm picturing the flow to look something like this, but I lack the developmental knowledge to allow the selections and order form to talk to each other.
I'm not looking for a step-by-step how-to (though that would be nice) but guidance on where to start learning how to do this.
In an ideal world, the user could add multiple selections to their cart and "check out" in the same way without needing payment information.
I hope that all makes sense. Feel free to DM me if you're in the mood to help a dude out!
Thanks in advance <3
