Does anyone have any recourses on how I can learn the process of Free On Board boat shipping from Asia to USA?

Customs needs, insurance, tariffs etc? Im used to just using FedEx, DHL etc where the SENDER is the shipper. I'm new to the process where the RECIEVER is the shipper and need to learn.
