Hey guys. So I’m about to start doing IG ads on my Shopify store. I’ve had a bit of traffic coming to my store (100-200 people) mostly from my social media. I’m having doubts on how much should I put in in order to test and eventually create a good audience. Should I create one ad and test it on multiple audiences? Or many creatives and test it on multiple audiences? How much should I put in daily during testing $5, $10? How do you guys go about doing this when you start a new site?
Hi folks. I'm interested in potentially creating a viral giveaway to help push some of my products in marketing as well as gain leads for a kickstarter.
( I create handmade leather goods in America. )
I'm wondering if anyone has been successful and has any tips for doing so.
Hey guys, I'm not sure what to do. Googling seems to say it's happened to a few people. I was setting up my account, not even making an ad, and it forced me to log out. When I changed my password etc, it had disabled my ad account.
If I try to get it to "review" the decision, I can't because I haven't placed any ads for it to review.
I have just sent them a scanned bank letter and tax reference which I'm hoping fixes it? But due to covid I'm scared it won't be even looked at. And maybe that won't even fix my disabled ads problem.
Any else been through this?
I have finally found a great POD. The only thing is the apparel still has manufacturer's tags (Bella+Canvas, Independent Co…). I know Printful and others do custom labels or at least no label at all but there are reasons why I'm not using PODs like Printful right now. I feel like it will look really bad for my brand to have another brand's name on my products. Maybe I could ship the products to myself first, change the label, and then ship it to the customer? The shipping times would be very long though, and expensive.
What do you guys think?
Hi all 👋
New to ecommerce and after looking at sales data over my first 10 months, I feel that the the UK would provide a better product-market fit for my products.
My question is whether this is possible from a legal/tax standpoint.
The store currently services Sri Lanka, the country where the business is registered. I would like to extend shipping options to the UK, with the possibility to actually ship from within the UK itself (I’ll be moving there for work in a few months).
I’ve already checked with my main employer (UK) and they’re fine for me to work on my side project, I’ve tried gov.uk but found nothing specific (other than double tax agreements).
Any pointers on where I can find information relating to this? Also any tips from personal experience would also be appreciated 🙂
We sell patterned cushions and whilst standard imagery works fine, some of the fabrics look lacklustre on flat images.
For example sparkly, glitter fabrics aren't captured well on photos.
As a result we want to look at adding videos for each of our products.
We don't have the budget nor skill for high end video production. It will most likely be an iphone and vimeo account.
But our products are simple. Just wondered if anyone has any examples or tips on creating very simple but effective product videos?
KISS, ‘Keep It Simple Stupid’ and and the subject points out what I’m after pretty much.
Looking to do what a local town has done over the last couple of years (very successfully) and undercut Just-Eat (UK) and the other big name takeaway companies like Deliveroo etc and focus on a town/locality rather than nationwide. I would be looking to approach the town/towns food places that they are not aiming at.
Not looking to approach none current takeaway restaurants as yet as I would have to provide a driver so looking to target takeaways that deliver already before looking into restaurants and commit to employing drivers.
If it does get to that stage (hiring drivers) then I would be looking to focus on other places in the town such as; alcohol delivery, basic shopping, vape stores etc.
